Featured Composer–Lee Shook


Lee Shook was born in Richland, Washington in 1949. He received a Masters Degree in Music Education from the University of Idaho and a Bachelors Degree in Music from Gonzaga University and has served as a public school band director in Washington State for 37 years. Lee received the American Band Association Citation for Excellence and is a member of the Washington Music Educators Hall of Fame.
He currently teaches music education courses at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. In addition, he is active as an adjudicator, clinician and honor band conductor throughout the Northwest region.
